Megaconvention
February 2007
Orlando, FL

I almost went to this one alone...at the last moment 3 other friends decided to come, ones that I had met at last year's Megaconvention. This convention was PACKED! It was almost unbearable in the convention center, all those hot and sweaty and stinky people. I had a really good time though, as usual. One of my roomies and I went to a supposed "convention party" at a local club...turned out to be a bust but we had fun anyways.

Jamie Bamber-Battlestar Galactica

Kevin Sorbo-Andromeda, Hercules

I showed Kevin the photos from Dragoncon '06, where he was goofing off in my photo of Steve Bacic. He remember the incident. At last, an actor that is taller than me!

PANELS

Battlestar Galactica panel

Unfortunately Mary McDonnell was not doing photo ops at this convention. I would have loved to take one, as I wore a t-shirt that said "Don't Blame Me, I Voted for Roslin".

Kevin Sorbo panel

Don't remember much about this panel. One of these days, I tell ya, I will remember to take notes.

Gigi Edgely-Chiana, Farscape

I told Gigi this cute little story: My husband doesn't really watch scifi, but he knows a bit about the shows that I watch. When I told him I was going to a con to meet the blue lady from Farscape (meaning Virginia Hey) he replied "ooh, the honry one?". For a second I was like, huh? Then it sunk in; I said "not that blue lady sicko, the other one!" She thought that was cute.

David Franklin-Capt. Braca-Farscape

An embarassing moment: I had my cellphone on my left hip...it was set to vibrate. Right when my friend went to take the photo the phone went off, right up against David. Which led to an array of jokes, such as "was it good for you?" and some other unsavory comments.

Wayne Pygram-Scorpius, Farscape

COSTUMES

The Robot from Lost in Space

Although I remember watching the show, I have little memory of the episodes. I do remember being terrified of the Robot, especially when it's arms were extended and flailing about. So I just had to take this picture.
