I LOVE being a teacher in my community. I went for a walk in my neighborhood on this beautiful Florida night, so cute to see kids point and whisper to each other, then finally yell out "hi Ms. Lissa!" They are so excited and happy to see me and can't wait to tell their parents "that's the PreK teacher"! Even though I've never had these kids in my class, it's so cool to know that I've made an impression on them. That's what it's all about.
